Natasha Thahane, the granddaughter of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, is also known to be an Actress in a television show called Skeem Saam and the Queen. She has got viral after she announced that she received financial assistance from the department of arts and culture.

As Natasha was in an interview with MacG, she announced that she got funding from the Department of Arts and Agriculture and people are not pleased. It is alleged that all South African students follow certain procedures when applying for funding but she didn’t. Privileged
She tried to change the people’s perspective by providing evidence that she indeed followed the due procedure by providing emails that prove the allegations otherwise but people don’t seem to be buying it.
People’s Response
People are convinced that she got funding because of her well-known grandfather, and they believe that no student has ever go funding of a million rand in South Africa besides her. They smell corruption and they want answers.
On the other hand, some believe that Natasha has nothing to explain as she did not commit a crime by asking the correct people for funding. They believe all the people who have bad comments about what happened are just jealous.

Corruption has destroyed our country. For you to succeed you have to know people in high places for you to continue climbing the ladder. Can Archbishop Adopt me so I can be recognized as a black student needing financial assistance to go and study? I wonder if she was borrowed or given the money on a silver plater if borrowed will she ever repay it?
