The judgement of a case involving Mzansi’s celebrity is finally out and now she can carry on with her life.
Nonhlanhla Qwabe popular known as Skolopad is a South African media personality known for being a dancer, musician and nurse. She is popular known for entertaining the public through wearing revealing clothes. Besides that, Skolopad is also known for having given the public songs such as Umzimba while being in the entertainment industry.
If not out in the public entertaining people, Nonhlanhla is busy taking care of the health side of the public as she is a nurse with a nursing qualification. Qwabe is finally free as she was found not guilty for an accident that happened in 2018 and claimed someone’s life.
Opening up about what happened back in 2018 which led to her finding herself in court, Nonhlanhla Qwabe said “I was disciplining my child when the police saw me, they felt I was too harsh on the child and wanted to arrest me. They instructed her to drive to Namahadi Mokodumela police station, accompanied by a male police officer who sat in front in the passenger seat while i drove and a female officer was at the back with my daughter while the other van followed us”.
“The female police officer in the back grabbed the steering wheel and we crashed with an oncoming car and the driver of the vehicle died. The man also didn’t have a seat belt and succumbed to internal bleeding”, Qwabe added.
Speaking on the judgement regarding the 2018 culpable homicide case, Skolopad said “I am relieved that the court did not find me guilty. This case has been dragging on for a long and cost me mentally, physically and financially. The family was never happy, they needed clarity. I just hope they find healing and understand what happened was not my fault”.
It is good that media personality, Skolopad has been found not guilty. Many people be it in the entertainment industry or not, find themselves in jail for things that they did not do which is not fair. It would not have been fair for Qwabe to go to jail when it was not her fault.
Nonhlanhla has been through a lot following the 2018 incident and now that judgement has been made, may she find healing and be able to start over carrying on with her life.
