The times are pretty hard for South African singer Babes Wodumo. At least she has just indicated this much by making it clear that she wishes to die.

The “Wololo” hitmaker is the widow of the late kwaito ace Mampintsha. The muso died on Christmas Eve last year after a mild stroke. The death has been pretty hard on her. Despite trying to put up a strong facade, there still comes that moment when she breaks down.

 

That was precisely what happened recently. Exhausted with life, the mother of one – yes, she had a son named Sponge for Mampintsha before his death – had taken to her Instagram Story, where she wrote in Zulu that she wished to die.Screenshots of that Story were taken by multiple fans, who shared the same on several social media platforms, and in no time Mzansi was aware that she was tired of life and sought death. Worried fans and even other celebs have been trying to cheer her up since, pointing to the future having something beautiful for her.

It appears the encouraging words are taking effect, as the singer has not made another post that her fans consider alarming or make them fear she would take her life.
