She plays Zodwa, an alcoholic single mother with two children, Teddy and Sibongile, on Gomora. She suffered a devastating loss of her husband, from which she is still recuperating. Despite her financial difficulties, Zodwa ensures that her children do not go to bed hungry and receive the greatest education possible. She recently discovered that her adored daughter Sibongile was dating an older man, which allowed her to obtain the bag.

Zodwa was hurt, and because she had betrayed her trust, she had to kick her daughter out of the house. Teddy, her son, chastised her for being a bad mother when she chased her daughter out, and she felt terrible about it. She then followed her daughter to school in order to pick her up and drive her home, where she witnessed the worst.

Mr Dancan, the man behind the spelling Bees, is the man Sibongile has been dating, according to Zodwa. She was devastated, so she took over the spelling bees by revealing Sibongile’s relationship with Mr Dancan.

The Gomora actress Zodwa did not stop there; she threatened Mr Dancan that if he continued sleeping with Sibongile, she would take matters into her own hands. In her own words, she stated, and I paraphrase:
