Mzansi Magic adds new maskandi drama to line-up

Ayanda Borotho, Ernest Ndlovu, Nothando Ngcobo, and Phumzile Mlangani are the stars of the new program uZulu no Mhlaba on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161).

The show’s premiere is on October 30 at 00:00 and features a portion of Ulundi, a township in KwaZulu-Natal. Ihhashi Elimhlophe, a renowned maskandi musician, also makes a special appearance on the program.


 

 

The cast of the new Sunday night drama uZulu no Mhlaba on Mzansi Magic (DStv 161) includes Ayanda Borotho, Ernest Ndlovu, Nothando Ngcobo, and Phumizile Mlangeni.

The program debuts on October 30 at 20:00 and features a special appearance by Maskandi legend Ihhashi Elimhlophe. The drama centers on two maskandi musicians named Zulu (Aphiwe Bengu) and Mhlaba (Ntokozo Vilakazi), who get into a violent argument over music before realizing they are more alike than they thought.
