The Qwabe twins are South African artists. They are originally from the Kwazulu-Natal province. During the 15th season of Idols South Africa, they became well-known. The Qwabe twins had planned to compete in the 2018 Idols, but lacked the courage and confidence to do so. They gained confidence and took the decision to seek idols in 2019.
They took the country by storm with their performance, and many people declared them the victors before the tournament even began. They were unable to get to the finals, though; Virginia was eliminated, and Viggy withdrew from the tournament the next day due to an allegation.
The Qwabe twins were 22 years old when they entered the Idols competition in 2019. In 2021, the Qwabe twins will be 24 years old, having been born in 1997. They are 23 years old now and will turn 24 in 2021. Despite their issues with Idols South Africa, the Qwabe twins remain successful musicians. DJ Tira has given them his seal of approval. In the previous year, they had released a single called ‘hamba.’
