Mzansi celebrates the country’s new queen.

Having to have grown up in the northern part of Malawi, Shepherd Bushiri was very shy when growing up and he would follow his mother wherever she’d head off to. He then rose to fame as a self proclaimed prophet after he was rumoured to perform “miracles” before the eyes of many at the age of 27 in the city of Mzuzu.

A former close friend of Bushiri told City Press that ” the more time I spent with Bushiri led me to doubt hism as Prophet of God as what he would request me to do would turn out to be ungodly, and this is on of the reasons I left and went back to Malawi. The day I reveal how Bushiri makes his money is the day I will die, but that won’t stop me from trying to shed the light about the man,”he said.

He was under the guidance of Zimbabwean Prophet, Uebert Angel who is currently in self-exile in United Kingdom after fleeing Zimbabwe for his own life in 2015. Bushiri is the 4th child of 6 and has come a long way from poverty, after he was able to purchase a private jet worth$1.25 million in cash and has also purchased multiple luxury cars,a hotel and spa.

Bushiri and his wife are currently facing charges for fraud and Contravening the Prevention of Organised Crime Act and they appeared in the Pretoria Magistrate Court and both were granted bail at R100 000 each.

A source of City Press revealed that Bushiri was unable to complete school as he failed in his final year and also revealed that the reason why Bushiri left Malawi was because they had seen through his fake prophecies and was about to be exposed. The source labelled him as a lover of attention, money and a con man who his behind the Word of God.
