Former Generations star Sello Maake KaNcube has rubbished reports that he sold his soul by accepting an invitation by the Zimbabwean government. The legendary actor Sello Maake KaNcube’s and actress Pearl Thusi received criticism on social media after their pictures with Zimbabwean president Emmerson Mnangagwa went viral on social media over the weekend.

“I accepted the invitation for personal, social and business purposes. My wife is a Mbewe who is actually half Zambian and Zimbabwean. She had never been to either country, so her being to Victoria Falls for the first time was a magical experience for me.”
The popular Skeem Saam star also reveals that people’s opinion about him has never been his reality. reports that the actors Sello Maake KaNcube, Perl Thusi and Sonia Mbele’s recent visit to Zimbabwe sparked a wave of criticism from South Africans and Zimbabweans, who accused them of being hypocrites.
@MuziZulu20: “I have come to conclusion that celebrities are just decorated for nothing and sadly there are insignificant enough for their opinions to be used as the conclusion on the Zim situation. Life is hard here in Zim lokhu okwabo abakuxoxe kusale e State House.”
@Mfulomkhulu2: “Politics of the stomach with Pearl Thusi, asiyindawo.”
@pmcafrica: “Very disappointing…these people don’t give a shit about anyone.”
@BBK29_: ‘Is all about who benefits from the Guptas. Is clear that if indeed Guptas bought people in government, he would definitely be in that list.”
