South African DJ and businesswoman Ntombezinhle Jiyane, popularly known as DJ Zinhle, took to Instagram to ask God to protect and guide her daughter Kairo Forbes on Friday 10 March. This marked a month since her dad AKA’s death.

Zinhle took to Instagram to share a photo of her daughter Kairo Forbes dressed in a mermaid outfit and sent a prayer of protection and guidance to God. This marks a month since Kairo’s dad AKA was shot dead on 10 February.

Rapper Kiernan Jarryd Forbes, popularly known as AKA was shot dead outside of Wish restaurant on Florida Road, Durban on 10 February, along with his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane. AKA and DJ Zinhle welcomed Kairo in 2015. Kairo has been the light of AKA’s life and many were heartbroken that she was robbed of having her father around, so young.
