Elton Jantjiex-girlfriend Ashleigh Ogle has shared more details of her high-profile relationship and split from the former Springbok.

And according to the TV personality, that includes plenty of tea on why she decided to cut ties with the controversial rugby player.

Over the weekend, Ashleigh announced that she was “distancing” herself from Elton in a strong-worded statement. She also publicly appealed to him to leave her and her loved ones alone.In the statement, Ashleigh Ogle revealed that her relationship with Elton Jantjies had ended after just two months.
 

She shared in part: “I have endured things no woman deserves. I was deluded & chose to believe in him until numerous reliable sources brought information to my attention that could have implicated me”.

When one tweep asked her why she decided to post a statement, she clapped back: “Because my life was threatened. Is that enough of a reason?”. Ashleigh did not go into details of the threats or who made them.

She continued in another tweet: “Me making a statement to protect my family and brand wasn’t for anything more than that, PROTECTION. We live in a world where woman are told to be quiet and move on instead of having a voice and being allowed to heal from their traumas. Women end up dead for being silent. In another tweet, Ashleigh hinted at her relationship with Elton Jantjies, whom she previously claimed was a childhood friend.

She tweeted: “I never mentioned anything that was done to me. I made it very clear that I want NO AFFILIATION because I’m getting the raw end of the spectrum. I can’t pay the price for someone else’s indiscretions. I won’t be another silent victim of no man’s actions or bad habits.
