Timid housewife Mpho (Azwi Rambuda) who’s always been calm and collected has been displaying some strange behaviour recently, like coming back home in her pyjamas after having slept over at someone else’s place – and the only explanation she could give her family was that she didn’t know how she had got there.
The odd behaviour, coupled with Mpho being tied at the hip with prison escapee Rosemary (Gugu Mzobe), leaves Mpho’s family with more questions than answers and they are extremely worried.
Mpho is still the modern housewife that she was, but she’s also now a vessel for her ancestors. Everything in her life was fine until the ancestors decided to pay her a visit, leading to Mpho doing things that she would not do.
But the strangest part of this situation is that the only person who can help Mpho is her new bestie Rosemary.
THE PLOT THICKENS
Mpho’s strange urge to help Rosemary pushes her to drastic steps. She is now hiding the convict who was in prison for kidnapping Gugu (Bukamina Cebekhulu) and murdering Vho-Mukondeleli (Elise Rasalanavho) earlier this year.
When Gugu discovers what her friend Mpho is doing, Mpho kidnaps Gugu again to make sure her secret stays hidden.
This is the second time that Gugu has been abducted and it’s now by her friend.
However, Mpho’s teen daughter Ndiwavho (Shudufhadzo Mathagwa) goes snooping because she fears for her mom’s wellbeing and she finds Gugu.
