Zakes Bantwini and Nomcebo have received their first Grammy nomination.

With the song Bayethe, which features Wouter Kellerman, the South African stars are nominated for Best Global Music Performance.

The prestigious award’s organizers announced the names of nominees for the year 2023 on Tuesday night.

Burna Boy, Arooj Aftab, Anoushka Shankar, and a few others will compete alongside the Zakes and Nomcebo.

Zakes took to social media to express his gratitude for receiving his first Grammy nomination.
