Musa Mseleku is paying part of his sons’ Lobola

Musa Mseleku and Mayeni’s firstborn son Mpumelelo says that he is ready to pay Lobola for his two girlfriends. Although this is a good thing, his mother is not in complete agreement with him taking the step to pay lobola.

In the recent episode of Uthando Nesthembu, Mpumelelo’s mother Mayeni said that she does not stand by her son’s decision because he is still so young and it could mess up a lot of things. However, Mpumelelo is head over heels in love and is doing activities with his father’s influence.

“For now I do not have enough money except for my inheritance, which I will use towards lobola. Again I cannot disclose the finer details of ilobola because those are sacred discussions between my father and myself. My mother Mayeni is not aware of these discussions”, said Mpumelelo.

Mpumelelo also revealed that both his girlfriends know and speak to each other on the phone, but they have never met and they will meet up for the first time this December.

“I have been dating these two ladies for the past two years and now I am preparing to marry them. I have met their families and I have also introduced them to the Mselekus. They are effectively my fiances. This December i am planning to spend time with both of them. It is going to be the first time meeting each other, otherwise, they talk on the phone and on Whatsapp. We actually have a group chat where we all talk”, Mpumelelo told Daily Sun.

Musa Mseleku who is the brains and push behind all the plans says that he has already given him the go-ahead and the blessings to get married at such a young age and also agreed to pay for his Lobola partly.

“I have already given Mpumelelo my blessings to go and get married. I am actually happy that he is getting married while he is still young. This will allow him to make more babies, raise them, and grow with them. I would not want him to get old and start doing things because he might fail. As we speak, the Lobola talks are at an advanced stage and as a father, I am paying part of them”, said Musa.
