Musa Khawula murder case trial postponed after he claimed to be ill in court

The murder trial for gossip blogger Musa Khawula has been postponed to 19 October 2022 after he appeared in court on 19 September 2022 and claimed to be ill. Musa Khawula appeared at the Vredenburg Magistrate’s Court for allegedly fatally stabbing Wandile Khambule in March. The incident resulted in Khawula being charged with murder ever since. Following the ongoing murder accusation against him, the entertainment blogger made an appearance in court.

South Africans think it was all a tactic so he wouldn’t face what he had done as they don’t believe he is sick. Wandile’s girlfriend, Sweetness Jaftha, claimed that Musa fatally stabbed Wandile at their home before fleeing the scene. She was present when Musa Khawula and the other guests arrived at their home, and he insisted on speaking to Wandile Khambule privately. Khambule claimed he had no business to discuss with Musa Khawula and subsequently refused to speak with him. Wandile Khambule eventually went outside to talk to Khawula.

According to Sweetness, that is when things started to go wrong. Khawula stabbed Khambule as he ran after him with a large knife, causing him to fall in front of her brother’s bakkie when she went outside to see what was happening. She then requested that a friend try to halt the situation. He was stabbed in the back and chest. Jaftha further claimed that during their altercation, which resulted in the victim’s fatal wound, Musa Khawula bit and chewed Wandile Khambule’s bottom lips. She said his final words before he passed away; are that he pleaded and begged Khawula to pardon him if he had ever wronged him. Musa Khawula claims he stabbed Wandile to death in self-defence.

Since then, Twitter users have voiced their opinions about Musa Khawula’s recent court appearance. More than anything, a sizable portion of Twitter users are celebrating that Khawula is now making amends for his crimes, which he has already admitted to, but in self-defence. People don’t like him because he constantly provokes famous people, so they favour his going to prison.

“He must serve time in prison. He is a filthy scumbag,” said Conga

“Oh, funny… He should be sent to prison because he deserves it for forgetting to mention this in his gossip parade today.”, commented Minnie

“Since he frequently tweets about other people’s problems and affairs, I want to see Musa tweeting, “This is broke Musa appearing in court for murder, being represented by Legal Aid as he can’t afford legal representation.” wrote Romeo

@Milano added, “He deserves everything coming at him.”
