Big Brother Mzansi’s Sunday episode took another one of Mpho’s friends away. Terry who became very close to Mpho of late was evicted after 63 days in the competition along with Thato and Sis Tamara. This leaves Mpho, Themba, Tulz, Gash and Libo as the remaining housemates in the show.

Terry joins Nthabi and Dinky on the list of Mpho’s friends who have since been evicted. Friends are important to Mpho, when Nthabi was in the house they were always together. Some even wondered how Mpho would cope without Nthabi in the house.

 

To Mpho’s credit, she did really well. She and Terry got close and she spent a lot of time with Tamara and Tulz. Mpho was close with neither Terry nor Tulz before and they hardly spoke as the two were in an alliance with Libo, Mpho’s former love interest and now nemesis.

Speaking of Libo. The two’s previously romantic relationship has been strained since Gash told Mpho that Libo told the man’s conference that he wants sex. Libo then started believing that he was painted as a rapist after Mpho said that she felt that Libo was getting her drunk to sleep with her.

This caused so much drama to the point where the two have never found their way back to each other despite numerous attempts to make peace. The tension was further aggravated this week after Libo took Mpho’s traditional cloth which he blamed on Big Brother, who told Libo to steal the house mate’s personal belongings. Mpho felt Libo should have taken something else.

They are not talking now but they have to. The contestants are now so few that Mpho has no choice but to talk to Libo. As much as Nthabi’s departure inspired a peace attempt between the two, Terry and Sis Tamara’s departure must do the same. It’s only fair to the viewers to not see so much tension amongst a small group of people.
