Nomuzi “Moozlie” Mabena is best known for her work as a rapper and media personality, but she’s now adding reality TV star to her resume after joining the cast of DJ Zinhle’s Unexpected on BET.
Moozlie tells TshisaLIVE that although the reality show gives audiences a look into her friendship with DJ Zinhle, it also emphasizes how effectively they combine their business and personal lives.
“Most of the time, our talks return to business, especially when Era is involved, because we’re both very enamored with jewelry… Our friendships are so deep and we’re able to develop together in the way that we do because we have talks about improving and elevating ourselves. When you tell your pals about your dream, it doesn’t seem strange… we simply try to be there for each other and learn from each other,” she adds.
“It’s critical to have strong relationships with people because, at the end of the day, we’re all companies, and we need to make sure we can utilize our networks… it’s helpful to have a boss on fast dial.”
People have begun to refer to Moozlie as Auntie Mooz’ as a result of the roles she plays in the lives of her friends’ children as a result of watching the program and following her on social media.
“Now that Thando [Pearl Thusi’s daughter] is a little older, she understands… Kairo is Kairo, Kairo, Kairo, Kairo, Kairo, Kairo It’s fascinating and amusing to see her grow up in a world where she is famous yet has no idea… She giggles, “I adore being an auntie since it’s only for a few hours and then I can send them home.”
Moozlie told TshisaLIVE that having to chronicle parts of her life while on the reality program has been a thoughtful and joyful experience for her.
“I’m addicted to reality television… Being a part of the reality show’s production has been incredibly introspective… “I believe you look at your life, the way things happen and why they happen… it’s a lot of work, but it’s also a lot of fun,” she added.
