Victoya Venise experienced the shock of her life while visiting Georgia on business. After giving birth at her hotel, the Louisiana woman gave birth to her second child, Rocky Andrew, on Friday.

According to NBC affiliate WXIA-TV, her son’s birth came as a complete surprise because the doctors had estimated her due date to be May 15. Naturally, she had not anticipated his arrival any sooner.

 

Venise initially believed that she and her daughter, who is 4 years old, both had the same stomach ailment when the contractions started.

But she discovered it was completely different while using the hotel bathroom. “My daughter and I had just returned from the urgent care center. She also had a stomach illness. It was already too late when I realized it was a baby and not poop, she said.

During an interview with FOX station WAGA-TV, the mother recalled, “I turned around, and it was the baby.” When she told her doctors about the birth of her son, even they were taken aback. “Because I was so small, they actually believed that my due date was May 15. So, there was a certain conflict with them over that. They believed I wasn’t as far away as they believed,” she said.
