Mom Pregnant with Quads Told to Choose Which of Them Should Live, She Refused & Had Them All

Josh MacDonald, Kendall MacDonald’s husband, and they were eager to advance in their marriage. The couple from Timaru, New Zealand, had always fantasized about having children, so it came as a surprise when Brooklyn, their first child, was born.

Because of her history of health problems, Kendall was aware that getting pregnant might be difficult. After two months, they began trying to conceive again. Their little boy was a blessing. But the trip was very different from what they had anticipated.

The Long-Awaited Pregnancy

Kendall wanted a sibling for her son badly, but the doctors had warned her that it might be difficult for her to carry a child to term. After three years of trying for a second child—during which the mother also experienced a heartbreaking miscarriage—they received some outside assistance.

After several unsuccessful attempts at medical treatment, the couple finally got the good news they had been hoping for in 2018. The much-anticipated pregnancy was confirmed by the doctors, but there was still something else they needed to share with the mother.

The mother knew she had to make a difficult decision but couldn’t bear the idea of losing her unborn children.
