Returning to skeem Saam as an Actress Pebetsi Matlaila who plays the role of Mokgadi Matloga she took a break to give birth to her daughter.

Pebetsi took a maternity leave in March when she left her home and parted ways with her on screen partner Leeto, played by Eric Macheru.

She also mentioned that she is happy to be back as she last worked in January.

She mentioned that it feels great to reconnect with her role as it feels like linking with an old friend.

“I know people have a lot of questions about the way I left ” she said.

We last saw her on screen leaving her home and divorcing her on screen partner Leeto as her son Noah was put in juvenile prison. As viewers wanted to know if they are really undergoing a divorce and is Noah also coming back. Is Marry Matloga (his granny) going to make his life easy in jail or take him out.

“I spent the past few months taking care of my newborn daughter” said pebetsi.

Her baby girl was born in April and she was so happy to be there to watch her grow but she didn’t enjoy being at home and not working.

She didn’t enjoy being at home but it gave her a chance to improve on her self.

She said that being at home made her realize that one can’t depend on one income and she needs to explore her options.
