Minnie Dlamini-Jones took to her social media to finally share the big announcement that she has been teasing this past week, and her new project is a whole baby!

South Africa’s favorite diamond broke news of her pregnancy with release of what we can guess as the first of many snaps from her maternity shoot. The star’s first maternity image is an ode to her African roots with Minnie dressed in a statement mermaid, boob-tube dress by popular wedding dress designer, Asanda Madyibi. This is the same designer that dressed her for her traditional wedding to Quinton Jones.

The significance of the date that Minnie decided to reveal that she and her hubby and soon-to-be parents, is that she made the announcement on her husband’s birthday. She wrote one of the sweetest love notes as her caption to the post in part writing that, “I couldn’t have chosen a better man to be the father of our child.”

The star also suggested that their unborn child is welcomed news to her family considering the tragic passing of her brother back in 2019. Minnie was one of the most hard-hit by the passing of her younger brother, Khosini Dlamini. Minnie was Khosini’s protector and she did everything for her little brother, therefore the introduction of a new baby for the Dlamini and Jones clans must be a bitter-sweet moment.The only thing we will never get an opportunity to see is how the father, Quiton Jones feels about the pregnancy. Mr Jones is one of the few popular celerity husbands that do not have a social media footprint. The man has no Instagram, Twitter or Facebook. But Minnie’s celebrity friends have already started showering her with messages of congratulations.
