I’m pretty sure majority of South Africa is aware of or knows Shalate Sekhabi who stars in Mzansi’s television soapie series, House of Zwide. Her looks and acting skills took some by a storm.

This young actress recently graduated from the University of Witwatersrand, obtaining a BA degree in Film and Television. She was sure to post and share with her fans, her graduation pictures as well as her journey.

 

 

 

 

She mentioned on her Instagram caption how hard and taxing her journey was. Saying, “It’s been a mentally, physically and spiritually taxing journey and there were many times where I really thought I wasn’t gonna make it here.”

She furthermore goes on to thank her parents for carrying her throughout. She furthermore shared how she was wearing her father’s graduation gown. Stating that it was the same gown he wore as he was graduating on his graduation day 30 years ago. Moreover sharing that he graduated and obtained a BA degree in Dramatic Arts.

This surely serves as inspiration to many who feel as though the finish line is far, or those who feel as though the journey is difficult and demanding. Below, are more of her pictures.
