The announcement was made alongside news that comedian Lasizwe Dambuza and radio personality Mohale Motaung had also landed acting roles. Once again, tweeps were outraged, claiming that having a large social media following does not imply being a skilled actor. They were perplexed as to why only influencers were obtaining acting opportunities anymore. “Are there no fresh competent performers available to appear in shows?”
