Spending time with her grown daughters Malia and Sasha, who she and her husband Barack Obama both have, brings Michelle Obama the greatest joy.

Despite the family’s enormous fame, Malia and Sasha maintain their composure and prefer to keep their private lives hidden from prying eyes.

 

While little is known about the former first daughters, it has previously been revealed that Sasha gets her name from her nickname Natasha, which is actually another entirely different name.

In interviews, Malia and Sasha’s parents occasionally refer to their daughters as Malia and Sasha.

In Los Angeles, where they currently reside in the same home, Malia has a job and Sasha is a student. Sasha, 21, transferred from the University of Michigan to the University of Southern California to finish her senior year.

The country-based, Harvard-educated Malia, 24, is doing well as a screenwriter for Donald Glover’s The Hive.

Malia and Sasha Obama, the daughters of Barack and Michelle Obama, also go by the name Natasha.

In an interview with Vanity Fair earlier this year, Donald discussed his Beyoncé-inspired project and Malia’s participation in it, expressing nothing but admiration for the young artist.
