Mfana kah Gogo is a South African youngest Amapiano singer and artist, his real name is Sipho Mbonambi. He was born and bred in Durban at eMangangeni Region. He started singing at age 7 at church with his grandmother.
He rouse fame in 2021 after the death of Mpura and Killer Kau, his videos started trending because he sang like the late Mpura.
He got so much support and love from social media and he was later signed to Sony Music and after a few months he released his EP titled “Jabula” and after he released his second single Hlal’ethembeni featured his friend Mhlekzin.
Despite being popular he continued to study because he was in high school and in 2022, he was doing matric which was his senior year. After the matric results he posted that he had passed his matric and he was joyful, this scored him an interview with Gagasi FM.
He was interviewed by Penny Ntuli, during the interview he was obviously charmed by Penny and he said he wishes that Penny stops seeing his as a baby because he is now an adult. After the interview Mfana kah Gogo shared their picture and wrote that he has a question and placed a red heart.
On his Facebook post also mentioned Penny Ntuli on a post that spoke of a love song and said the song came at the right song and again placed a red heart. With that being said Penny Ntuli’s ex boyfriend Durban’s famous producer MBzet Da Producer had something to say,
MBzet wished Mfana kah Gogo a good luck with Penny Ntuli because him and Penny have dated. Other comments on the post were also discouraging him and some were laughing at him telling him that he is too young for Penny.
