As the funeral of our fallen musician Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes got underway and South Africans were coming to terms with the reality that Super Mega is no more. We have yet again been robbed a musical icon at an early age because we still expected more from AKA.

 

 

 

 

Yesterday we have watched his memorial service with heavy hearts, and we wake up today to see a procession of cars heading to the grave side where he will finally be laid to rest in peace. It really cuts deep, we sometimes struggle to find peace, but we will now rely on his music to console ourselves.

When we wait to bury our loved ones, seeing the coffin makes everything so final. South Africans continued to send their last words to the family and expressed their shock as they saw the convoy. More of what the people have said is on the screenshots below this article.

We send our love to his family and loved ones to stay in peace and not break into pieces. We pray and hope that the merciful God will wipe away every tear from their eyes and shine his light of grace upon them. May he intervene in granting them the justice that they deserve.
