Ningi Mhinga

Mninginisi Nkhavi Mhinga popularly known by the shorter version of his name, Ningi Mhinga is the musical icon Yvonne Chaka Chaka’s very first son. He works in a sports shop in France and was once recognized as a senior manager for the popular shoe brand, Nike.

Themba Mhinga

Following his mother’s legacy, he chose to become a South African performer. A couple of years prior he delivered some very sweet melodies the likes of Uzosha, I Wanna Be There and Ubuntu Yistayela. He was about to give up on music due to the pressure of now meeting up to his mother’s legacy, he said he figured many individuals would think he was doing music just please his mother, however he accepts that music picked him and has been on the grind ever since.

Due to his mother’s status, growing up Mfuma never lacked but at a point he decided to take life seriously. So from being a regular feature, clubber, spender and life of the party on the City of Johannesburg social scene to ensuring public service delivery in the North, the now 32-year-old Mfumu Shilungwa Mhinga hopes he can make a difference by standing as one of the EFF ward candidate and he contested in the 2021 municipal elections.
