Fortunately today lets look on the business most owned by males in South Africa , burial and funeral scheme include funeral home is the rare business owned by African especially women.I decided to visit the black owned funeral home , owned by a young black lady Thembelihle Ngcobo from South Africa in Isipingo , Kwa Zulu Natal.

During my visit in his office we share some conversation on how she get started since its a scaring and challenging sector whilst its related with death and sorrow on the daily basis when one family loss their love one. She said its all about accepting challenge fortunately she worked before in that kind of business that lead to follow it and save money to start her own sector.

She emphasized one of the major crisis she faced during this time of pandemic is the highest rate of death especial festive season that led her to end up using business profit, in order to satisfy her customers. She note that as Black business owner the main challenge in this kind of business are their service provider which is called under-writer as some mostly delay payment that lead to most business closer due to high rent, unpaid electricity bill if you rely on under-writer.

The unrest also had a negative impact in her business as they damage office in Isipingo in July 2021 lucky she is back to it full time as it now renovated. The logistics of this business are expensive include coffins ,flowers ,decoration not this days client demand modern funeral with luxury cars and expensive decoration but all this depends on your premium with KwaChamane Funeral Service said Thembelihle Ngcobo.

Thembelihle was born and raised in South Coast, Umgababa near Amanzimtoti. She completed his secondary education at Mcothoyi Secondary School, She is the founding director for KwaChamane Funeral Services.

Therefore its start from nothing to get what you want but determination , endurance and accept of rejection with challenges are part of this business.
