Unathi Nkayi 

Sis Unathi was married to the well-known radio host Thomas “bad boy” Msengana. Their relationship resembled that of a power couple because they were both accomplished in their own careers. As Thomas was accused of meeting another lady, fissures began to form in his marriage. 

Unathi said in her memoir that she turned to drinking to cope with her situation. Unathi eventually overcame her tension and worked on herself. She has even altered her figure by dropping weight, resulting in a much younger appearance. 

Sonia Mbele 

The dissolution of Sonia’s marriage to Leslie prompted widespread interest in the causes of their unsuccessful union. 

During an interview with Mzansi Magic’s Cheeky Palate host Phat Joe, the actress confessed that she had conquered her demons. 

I am now more comfortable discussing this topic than I was previously, but there was a time when I could not. She added that she felt comfortable discussing the matter since her children were adults who could “know, discern, evaluate, and decide.” 

Minnie Dlamini 

Minnie Dlamini, a South African talk show host and actress, filed for divorce on February 15, citing “changing circumstances,” but it appears there is more to the story. In May, after allegations spread on the Homeground app that the show’s host, who is married to Quinton, on him, the host’s name shot to the top of Twitter’s trending list. 

They allege that the death of Minnie’s pilot brother was the deciding factor in their breakup. Supposedly, after her spouse discovered her affair, she stopped interacting with him. Finally, having reached his breaking point, he filed for divorce. 

Sources claim that Minnie is not prepared to sign the divorce papers and has refused to do so, leaving Quinton in some capacity imprisoned. 

Mkhize Shauwn 

It was widely reported in 2018 that Sbu Mpisane and Shaun Mkhize had split. Shauwn revealed in the pilot episode of Kwa Mam’Mkhize that her ex-husband loved himself more than her, forcing her to forget who she was. It was unclear why the powerful couple was splitting up. Shauwn also disclosed that she was recuperating and seeking new beginnings. She is a completely different person who is just as successful and content as she was previously.
