Compared to their Earlier days, Connie and Shona Ferguson have made significant progress. After Connie left Generations, the Fergusons decided to launch their own production company, Ferguson Pictures, in an effort to improve their standing in the industry.

After Rami announced her departure from the group via social media, she was interviewed by Somizi on his show and was questioned if she would ever work with them again.

To which I reply, “It depends. I think they ought to pay more attention to it. It doesn’t matter how good of a listener you are as a leader. Given the competitive nature of the industry, it is tragic that producers feel threatened by expression. Keeping your humanity intact is not counterproductive to your artistic endeavors. In the entertainment industry, nobody should be beyond reproach.

As soon as the news of Ntando Duma’s dismissal from the Queen was confirmed by multiple sources, it made its way into the internet. There were allegations that the well-known actress was let go shortly after beginning a new job.

The Fergusons had already fired a well-known actor after hiring him for a role.

The Dineo Langa

Actress and TV anchor Dineo Langa was fired after asking for time off to make another movie; she has been with The Queen since its 2016 premiere. However, following the lockout, the Fergusons sent her a critical email urging her not to return to work.

Dineo, who portrayed Kea Khoza on the show, acknowledged afterwards that she had been fired. She made this Instagram post in answer to an inquiry from a fan regarding her plans to leave the Queen. In the essay, Dineo stated,

“I’m not coming back, I got fired” (Ang’buyi mina ngaxoshwa).

She explained that her character had been written out of the program in response to another user. Sooner or later, the main character will perish.

Veteran actor Sello Maake ka Ncube, once of Kgosi, also left The Queen with short notice. Despite this, ka Ncube did not explain his departure from the show, stating instead that only the Fergusons knew the truth.
