Let’s meet the Underground Gang

The Underground Gang is not just a name voters gave themselves for the BBM event; and they are an entire movement. They created a complete campaign around Mpho Wabadimo since the inception of BBM in January, which Sunnyboy Ndlovu headed. Sunnyboy Ndlovu hails from Daveyton in the East Rand in Johannesburg.

Rumour mill has it that they taught the community how to vote for one of their own. He has worked tirelessly with his team around Daveyton, edging the community to vote for Mpho Wabadimo. Sunnyboy invited his business partner and owner of Vukani M to set up the scene for the excellent viewing of the last episode of BBM, where Mpho ended up emerging the winner.

The Underground Gang gifted the community with T-shirts and created hype around Mpho. No doubt the gang has been trending since her historic win. However, the jubilation when Mpho won was contagious and felt throughout the country. When Lawrence announced, Mpho’s entire family and friends, who were all watching patiently, erupted like a volcano.
