Nambitha Ben Mazwi born on the 1st of December 1988, played quite a naughty but yet so educational role/character on E-tv’s original series Scandal.

The character she played was Shadow, a sweet and spicy kind of character that people loved to hate. Especially after she exposed her psychotic nature.

Nambitha was originally born in Brighton in Port Elizabeth. She is a beauty with brains type. She has an Honours degree in Business Scienced which she acquired at the University of Cape Town.

She comes from a family that loves art and she owes following her passion to her late uncle Winston Ntshona. She says watching him perform Dr John Kani and the likes had great influence on her pursing her dream of acting.

Acting is her only talent but she is a great singer too.

She has a bit of resemblances of American actress Gabrielle Union maybe that is why she moved to New York, joking.

She moved to the US because her job at the time as a business strategist had established an office in New York but that did not quench her thirst for acting hence she left the job.

That is when she returned to South Africa to pursue her acting career in full force. She knew presenting was not her thing after presenter search on SABC 3.

Although her gig on Scandal was not her debut to our television screens. She gained alot of attention and recognition from it.

She was diagnosed with stage 1 Endometriosis.
