South African actress Rami Chuene got her start on the E! drama Backstage. Later, she played Mangi Nyathi’s mother and nurse, Thato, on the E! drama Scandal. As a result, she was cast in subsequent films. Rami is a legend and a fan favorite, in no little part because she displays a healthy dose of self-esteem whenever she performs in Sepedi, her mother tongue.
