Introducing Bahumi Mhlongo, the daughter of media personality Somizi. Born in Johannesburg in 1995, Bahumi is set to turn 26 this year. Despite having a condition that affects some parts of her body, she has never let it stop her from pursuing her passions. She is now a professional actor and author.

 

 

 

 

One interesting fact about Bahumi is that she attended AFDA, a private higher education group that offers courses in film, TV, performance, business innovation and technology, radio, and podcasting. The school fees at AFDA can range up to R2 million.

It’s inspiring to see Bahumi thrive in a family of hardworking icons, including her father Somizi, and her late grandparents. We look forward to seeing more of her on our screens.
