Biography

Kay Bikitsha is a famously well known African upcoming actress best known for playing Nozuko in the Mzansi Magic telenovela Gqeberha: The Empire. The young actress has also made appearances in other movies and television shows, including The Queen’s seventh season where she played Siyamthanda and Umbuso’s first season where she played 2 Sly.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Since her grandmother wouldn’t give it to her for free, she would cry and roll about on the ground. Her grandmother would often give her candy whenever she was upset to cheer her up. She was secretly honing her acting skills. She eventually started to mimic television personalities.

Kay Bikitsha took theater classes in grade six. She attended Gonubie Primary School. In the seventh grade, she took the stage as Lady Macbeth from Shakespeare. She authored, directed, and produced for the Xhosa Cultural Society and Ubuntu Cultural Society at Stirling High School.

Kay is a BCom in marketing management candidate at the University of Johannesburg (UJ). She applied to the university in 2021.
