Khanyi mbau has been working as an actress and TV host for more than a decade. She married an older, wealthier man and had a reputation for living large ever since. Her background was shrouded in mystery. Her father was the late Soweto businessman Menzi Mcunu, but little else was known about him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Khanyi’s parents never tied the knot but simply dated. In the wake of Lasizwe Dambuza’s success in show business, we learned more about Khanyi’s famous brother from her father’s side. Due to Lasizwe’s MTV reality show “Fake it till you make it,” we learned that Khanyi Mbau is his father’s brother. Here are a few of the other siblings that we spent time with and came to know rather well.

Thandeka

The siblings and Thandeka have the same father. Her BET appearance was on “Mbau Reloaded: Always Rise,” not on Lasizwe’s show. Thandeka has a special relationship with her younger sister. Whenever Khanyi is busy or unavailable, she also helps take care of Khanyi’s daughter. Khanyi and Thandeka got to know each other better as they grew up listening to Mbau Reloaded and reminiscing about their simpler times. Thandeka runs her own business, is a devoted wife, and a doting mother to her four lovely daughters.

Zakithi

After the Mcunu children went to Cape Town, we saw Zakithi on Lasizwe’s reality show and got to know her. She is a model, at least according to her Instagram, yet we know very little about her.

Shantel

In addition, a pregnant Shantel appeared on Lasizwe’s reality show. The next season, she gave birth to Lasizwe’s alleged daughter on camera. Shantel is another graduate with a job in a field other than show business. All of the Mchunu children get along well with one another.
