Media personality Minnie Dlamini celebrates her birthday and she is older than we thought

Celebrated media personality and actress Minnie Dlamini has been topping the trends of late. The media personality turns a year older today, and her social media platforms have been flooded with birthday wish messages.

 

 

 

 

However, in the mix of things, a host of celebrities have taken to their feeds to wish her many more years to come. Unathi Nkayi was one of the celebrities who wished her more on her birthday.

The KwaZulu Natal-born actress was born on 7 July 1990. Well, it comes as a shocker the bubbly media personality is 32 years old. She looks young. No doubt she had the plug and the bling.

Minnie Dlamini’s rise to fame and career

Her thrust into the limelight came from her debut on small screens in 2010. Since then, she has been winning big. Her thrust into stardom came with a hosting gig on SABC 1 live-music show Live Amp. She went on to present Mzansi Insider and also switched the floor to acting.

However, since her switch, she has managed to star in drama series, which include Generations, The Rockville, and The Wild. She has also hosted several awards, including the 14th Metro FM Music Awards, 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards, the PSL Awards, and the South African Film and Television Awards.

However, in the wake of her newfound fame, she switched to broadcasting. She joined Thomas Mlambo as co-host of SoccerZone before joining SuperSport.

On 8 July 2017, she made all sorts of headlines when she tied the knot with Quinton Jones. They had a lavish two-legged wedding that beamed Multichoice in an R6 million deal. However, four years down the line, they called it quits.

In a joint statement, their marriage turned south, and the two revealed they were heading for divorce. Rumour mill has it that it was marred with cheating allegations which saw Edwin Sodi being implicated in the equation.
