On Gomora Siphesihle Ndaba ‘Mazet’ is an orphan who finds refuge at the MaSonto house. She is the right-hand man to MaSonto, and a car hijacking expect. Mazet is a loyal servant to MaSonto, and the duo’s relationship has become more substantial, like mother and daughter. Mazet and MaSonto’s relationship threatens Thati, who feels Mazet is stealing the love and affection she used to receive from her mother.

However, despite the haterade Mazet gets from Thati, she was best friends with Phumlani Thati’s husband. After the death of Phumlani, Mazet received R1 million so she could move away from the MaSonto premises and start a new life away from criminal activities. Instead of Mazet abandoning the MaSonto family to create a new life, she decided to stay as she has grown fond of MaSonto and the criminal life.

In real life, Siphesihle Ndaba ‘Mazet’ is a genius young lady with a cabinet of degrees to show for it. Unlike onscreen, she is not a criminal who hijacks cars to make a living. Her onscreen character oppositely reflects her real life; Siphesinhle is not an orphan; she still has her mother and is not homeless.

Many people often refer to Siphesihle as a lousy girl forgetting that she will be acting that’s not her real-life character.
