The journey of life is one in which the destination is not up to us to choose; once the legendary “angel of death” knocks, there is no way out.

Some people have been able to beat death, maybe through organ transplants, but others have not been able to do so given the circumstances of their lives.

Locally, here in South Africa we have been under a cloud of sadness due to the sudden passing of a number of South African celebrities between the years 2021 and 2022.

The level of pain, anguish, and curses that were being hurled around is unparalleled. The following are some notable deaths that have shaken us.

Shona Ferguson.
Life had other things in mind for the power couple Shona and Connie Ferguson, who were celebrating their 20th anniversary in the year that everyone was waiting to see what was in store for them.

This is Shona Ferguson.
When COVID-19 struck, many people were unaware of its myriad ramifications; consequently, many people lost their means of subsistence, and even more tragically, lives were lost.

Mzansi was left with deep wounds after it was confirmed that Shona was one of those who passed away. The film industry star was responsible for putting many people all over the country in difficult situations through his work.

I pray that he will continue to rest in peace.

Killer Kau
Sakhile Hlatshwayo, more often known as Killer Kau, was one of the South African celebrities that passed away not too long ago. The reality is that everything appeared to be falling into place for him flawlessly, and he appeared to be destined for greatness.

Killer Kau
It was only a matter of time before his name was known all across the continent and the world. Already, the Amapiano sensation was lighting up dancehalls all across the country.

Killer Kau was going to do what he loved the most and what we loved him the most for doing when he was killed in a car accident just as he was getting ready to perform.

He was there with another Amapiano singer by the name of Mpura.

On August 9, 2021, he passed away.

Mpura
Yet another South African celebrity who was well-known by his stage name, Mpura, passed away not too long ago. Mongezi Thomas Stuurman was one of them.

Mpura
The rapper and electric performer was only 25 years old when he began to bless us with hits such as “Umsebenzi Wethu” and others. He was already on the ascent, and there really was no way to stop him from reaching his goals. The only limit was in the sky.

Both he and the Amapiano singer Killer Kau, who were on their way to a performance, were killed in a car accident that was caused by the cruel hand of death. Both men were on their way to perform.

He died on August 9, 2021.

Anele Tembe
Anele Tembe, who was known for her youthful beauty and voluptuous figure, was one of the South African celebrities who passed away not too long ago. She had a bright future ahead of her. There appeared to be no other future that was more promising than hers.

She was destined for greatness; her fairy tale with Artiste AKA was admirable, but it will never be known how far they were to take it. She was destined for greatness.

Many people’s hearts sank when it was revealed that she had died after falling from the 10th story of the Pepperclub Hotel in Cape Town and that she had fallen to her death.

We were all in agreement when we said that we loved her, and we have high hopes that we will get to see her again someday in a better place.

In April of 2021, she passed away.

Riky Rick

Riky As the owner of the record label known as “Makhado Makhado Agency,” Rick played an important role in the development of other artists’ abilities.

Reports indicate that Rick took his own life after what was described as a losing battle against the despair that he had experienced for a significant amount of time.

Not only have these South African celebrities who passed away recently had a significant impact in their respective industries, but they will also undoubtedly continue to be a source of motivation for future generations.

Prayers pour in to Mampintsha

Mampintsha, a member of Big Nuz, reportedly “lands in hospital.”

Mampintsha, a member of the group Big Nuz and a musician who is married to Babes Wodumo, was taken to the hospital for unknown reasons, according to his family.

WHAT’S GOING ON WITH MAMPINTSHA’S HEALTH?
It was reported that the musician Mampintsha, who is 40 years old, was admitted to the hospital over the weekend, and he was subsequently transported to the Durdoc Hospital in Durban Central. The musician, who was married to the gqom star Babes Wodumo, is thought to have suffered a stroke.

Daily Sun has been informed by his sister Pinki Gumede that the news is accurate, and she tells the publication that their family is concerned about him.

“On Saturday, December 17th, we were told to hurry over to his house after receiving a phone call with that information. When we arrived, he appeared to be in a terrible state of illness. His ability to speak had already been affected. He shared with us that he had consulted with an isangoma, who advised him that a traditional ceremony was something that needed to be performed.

Gumede continues by saying that Mampintsha instructed the family to acquire impepho and a goat so that he could carry out the ritual.

“When we got back to our house, we did that very thing. However, he never showed up. Instead, he called us and instructed us to carry out the rite without him present. We were taken aback by this, but there was nothing we could do about it. As a direct consequence of this, we butchered the goat and consumed it. However, we did not set impepho on fire.

‘THE HOSPITAL WILL NOT HELP THE BIG NUZ MEMBER’
According to his sister, Pinkie Gumede, they found out that he had a stroke and that he was readmitted to the hospital a few days later.

Once more, we reached out to Babes and her family, but they reassured us that there is no need to be concerned about him because everything is in order. We are aware that he is in very poor health, but we are once again being prevented from attending to his needs, and there is nothing we can do. We are concerned about him, and we are afraid that something terrible might happen to him.

Mampintsha’s mother, Zama, shared with Daily Sun that she is relieved her son is healthy despite the fact that he voluntarily consulted a sangoma.

“The hospital won’t be able to assist him. He needs to practice amagobongo, which is something I’ve been trying to get him to do despite the fact that he won’t listen to me.
