Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqithi has responded to serious claims his daughter Asavela Mqokiyana formerly known as Asavela Mngqithi made against him on social media.
The former Isibaya actress who is expecting her first born child with her husband, businessman and philanthropist Vuyisa Mqokiyana accused the Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach of being a deadbeat father who should not be credited for her success.
The 27 year old Durban born actress and model still maintains her statement and she went to as far as revealing that she is not prepared to mend her broken relationship with her father, Manqoba Mngqithi.
In addition, Asavela Mqokiyana also revealed that as far as she is concerned her father died ages ago.

This week, one of the leading publications in South Africa reported that Mamelodi Sundowns senior coach Manqoba Mngqithi has told his daughter, Asavela Mqokiyana, to keep his name out of her mouth and focus on her “makoti” duties after claims that he did not contribute towards her education.
“Asavela is my first born child, but I’m not married to her mother. Now, she’s fighting her mother’s battles. I took care of her until she was 21 years old, and I paid for her education. If I was an irresponsible father, I would have been taken to court”.
“She’s a married woman now, and her career is finished. She must concentrate on that and leave me out of her problems. She is dragging my name through the mud in order to make her a comeback in the industry, but I will not allow her.
