After many years of being loyal to the Gqom genre music alongside his wife Babes Wodumo and their music producer Dj Tira, Mampintsha is ready to make a switch.

 
According to reports Mampintsha will be producing an Amapiano track soon. The Amapiano music is dominating the charts in South Africa and it is also moving beyond our borders.

Gqom used to be big especially in Durban where it is alleged to have been born. Dj Tira of Afrotainment is the biggest producer of Gqom music.

He is responsible for launching the music careers of Mampintsha and his wife Babes Wodumo. The couple have since left Afrotainment to venture on their own.

Mampintsha is bringing energy and experience to Amapiano which is dominated by the young crowd. This could definitely be the right move for him especially because in music you can be forgotten quickly if you do not produce good music that people want.
