Zamanguni Gumede, Mampintsha’s mother has reportedly suffered from a stroke following her son’s death. According to sources, I have just taken the plunge since her sons passing.

It is alleged that she has suffered from liver complications since 2016, but her son’s sudden passing has taken a toll on her health, also putting her in hospital.

A close family member also pleaded with the public for help, in order to have Mampintsha’s mother transferred to a private hospital for better health care.

The family expressed that they were unable to approach Babes Wodumo and her family for assistance, this was after Mampintsha’s mother had called babes Wodumo out for not behaving like a wife who was mourning the passing of her husband.

She stated that instead of gala wanting the streets and performing, Babes Wodumo was supposed to follow cultural protocol, dress appropriately and sit on the mattress to show that she was mourning.

However, Babes Wodumo has not taken any of the advice, claiming that she had an agreement with her husband before his passing.
