If the video that is currently tearing at the ribs of netizens is any indication, the wealthy and well-known television personality Shawn Mkhize, also known as MaMkhize, may soon be reunited with her long-lost son.

 

Sandile Nhleko, a young man, appears in a Tiktok video asking the well-known family reunification show Khumbul’ekhaya for help in locating MaMkhize, his alleged mother.

The TikTok video posted on Sandile’s satire page on the video-sharing application has all the earmarks of being essential for a new episode of SABC’s Khumbul’ekhaya. The television host, Andile Gaelesiwe, then gives the young man a chance to tell his story, telling him how he found out that his parents were not really his.

The man begins his narrative by stating, “My mom told me that I was not her child and that she had swapped me during birth because her real child was sick and not as handsome as I was.”

In addition, he asserts that he was pleading with Khumbul’ekhaya to reunite her with her true mother, whom he had already identified.

Sandile maintains that Andile Mpisane was the child he was swapped with, and that Shawn Mkhize is his real mother.

Many people have come to the conclusion that the young man was in fact MaMkhize’s long-lost son due to the artistic narrative, which, according to some users of social media, appears to be fairly accurate.
