Usually, footballers are considered hot-headed people who are not so religious.

This was mainly because they are usually tied with work during weekends when most people attend church.

Surprisingly, Neo Maema showed his religion even in his first Instagram post when he shared a cross and praised God.

Surprisingly, Neo is a little different to most footballers: he always gives himself time to read the bible and reflect.

Looking into his Instagram, Neo always includes biblical words in all his posts.

He even pinned a post when he was reading a bible, and that was when fans realised he was so religious.

When he was reading the bible, Neo shared a verse from Genesis 12:3 that most fans loved.
