Mamazala: Viewers praise interpreter for her good work during the chaotic episode

Mamazala is a show that helps resolve differences between in-laws. They can range from serious to fickle but this week, a resilient and professional interpreter stood out. The show was assisting a deaf man named Sam. He needed help with his wife and child.

The interpreter was able to keep everyone aband informed.

I love a good inclusivity moment. When people who are disabled are able to be fully accommodating on a show like this, makes me quite pleased. People shouldn’t have to be on the sidelines just because they can’t talk/hear/speak etc. Sam was such a guest and Mamazala production got him the perfect translator.

Our hard working interpreter had to translate in a room on shouting people. She had to speak for Sam when he signed, she had to sign for him when everyone was talking and she managed to do so seamlessly. She did good work considering all the chaos that was surrounding her.

People praised her performance today and took to social media to applaud her.

One user wrote, “This translator is working hard nagana narrating arguments 😫#mamazala”

One other user wrote, “The interpreter has it hard!!!! The tone and voice changes?? Lol love her! #Mamazala”

While one user wrote, “#mamazala If tonight’s episode was a ⚽️ match, our interpreter would be the woman of the match.”

A final user wrote, “This translator is doing a good job. Yoh #mamazala”

Obviously, the interpreter must be used to doing this as a career. I don’t think its everyday that she has to deal with a fighting family though a d she handled it quite perfectly. It also made me want to learn how to use sign language because her hand gestures were quite mesmerizing.
