The reality TV star, Thobile “MaKhumalo” Mseleku has suffered some criticism about her home during the reality show, Real Housewives of Durban.

Knowing MaKhumalo, she is no stranger to reality TV show as she is part of the polygamist reality show, Uthando Nesthembu that airs on Mzansi Magic.

In that show, MaKhumalo does impress viewers and is loved, however the reception was different when she made a debut on Real Housewives of Durban.

Some viewers of the show criticised her after her home in rural areas of Mzumbe. They stated that she does not fit to be part of the luxurious show.

 

 

 

 

 

People on twitter criticised her home and stated that it was not luxurious enough, however MaKhumalo remained unbothered.

She has finally responded to those critics and it is seen that she remains unbothered at all by the critics. This is because she describs herself as a rural girl and did not want to be untrue to who she is.

MaKhumalo stated that if you know her then you would know that she is someone from the rural areas. For that reason, it would be particularly misleading to find MaKhumalo, watching her do the first time on a new show, now you find her at a new house and not in Umzumbe.

She went on to say she prides herself as someone who came from the rural areas and mad it to the urban areas.

So, she thinks that she brings both rural and urban life to the series.

Lastly, she said that the producers of the show wanted that aspect of a woman from the rural areas who is able to live both the lofe of the urban as well as that of the rurual areas.

She remained true to who she is and not faking. In this show, she revealed her humble beginnings that she is coming from.
