Seth claimed that he asked her supervisor at Open Mic Productions, Molau Rammala, for a refund.

“He just gave me back R40,000 and said he will pay the rest on Friday, October 7.

The payment would be made on Monday, October 10, he texted me later.

On October 18, according to Seth, he was able to contact Rammala, who promised to send the funds by 8 o’clock that day, but it never happened. He said that the absence damaged his reputation.

Calvin Ramotsebedi, an agent and promoter who collaborated with Seth on the event, according to Open Mic managing director Nkateko Maluleke, instructed them to only refund half the money.

Calvin remarked that because the event was a shambles, Seth should give the clients a refund. He allegedly failed to inform his patrons that the artist wouldn’t be able to attend the event until the day before.
