Nhlanhla Mafu was once married to Thembinkosi Nciza, better known as TK, a businessman and executive producer for TS Records. The two married in 2004, but divorced in 2019 for unknown reasons. Nhlanhla has been using the surname Nciza for a very long time, even on her social media platforms, she recently decided to change her surname to Mafu.

A lot of people fell in love with her music from the first time she made a debut into the music industry with two other singers in the group known as Mafikizolo. One member from the group passed on, Nhlanhla and Theo had to continue as a duo. They have been doing well despite all the hardships they had to face along the way.

Nhlanhla is known for so many things including her great sense of fashion which is absolutely phenomenal and out of this world.
