Lunathi Mampofu has bagged a new acting role according to entertainment blogger Kgopolo Mphela.

Taking to Twitter Mphela revealed that the actress is set to star in unmarried season 2 as he wrote

“CASTING NEWS: Lunathi Mampofu joins Unmarried. A second season of the @Mzansimagic series is in production with Lunathi as one of the new cast additions”Lunathi Mampofu is sure to add some spice on the popular drama as she did on The River where she played devious Emma who drove Lindiwe Dikana crazy for a minute after she had snatched Lindiwe’s beloved sidekick and nephew Zolani. The actress has also starred in other popular productions such as The Queen and in Ingozi where she played Zikhona which was her first big break on TV. The actress graduated from AFDA in 2010 and later attended New York Film Academy in 2013.

Unmarried is a 1Magic drama series that follows the lives of three women who have to juggle marriage, relationships, careers and motherhood. The first season of the show was highly popular and fans will sure be thrilled to know that season 2 is in the pipeline.
