Look Who’s Gun Was Allegedly Used To Kill Senzo Meyiwa? Read The Following.

A supplemental police report implicated Khumalo as a suspect in the murder of the goalie. Malesela Teffo, who defends four of the five men on trial for the murder of Meyiwa, asserts that a witness will testify. He stated that he will testify that the weapon in question belonged to Longwe Twala, the son of renowned music producer Sello “Chicco” Twala.

Wednesday, attorney Malesela Teffo informed the Pretoria High Court that he would call an eyewitness to testify that Kelly Khumalo inadvertently shot Senzo Meyiwa.

Teffo, who represents four of the five defendants on trial for the murder of Meyiwa, asserts that a witness will testify that the murder weapon belonged to Longwe Twala, the son of music producer Sello “Chicco” Twala.

On his third day of cross-examination, this question was posed to state witness and evidence collector Thabo Mosia.

Mosia declined to comment on Teffo’s statements and claimed he was misled by a prominent police official into deposing an affidavit for a parallel police docket implicating singer Khumalo in the goalkeeper’s murder.

Mosia asserted that Colonel Joyce Buthelezi was dishonest when she asked him to produce the document that contradicted his previous testimony that the crime scene had not been tampered with.

Tuesday, Teffo filed a second court document to contradict allegations that the crime scene was not interfered with.

Mosia:

I’m disappointed about… Colonel Joyce Buthelezi didn’t justify her statement. She did not mention a job in crime scene management.

Teffo disbelieved his account and accused him of being evasive and concealing differences at the crime site.

When Mosia arrived in Khumalo’s mother’s house in October 2014, he depicted the horrific crime scene where Meyiwa was shot.

You are evasive and defending the state. I suspect that one of the roommates shot the victim.

George Baloyi, state prosecutor, stated that Teffo’s questioning were unreasonable.

Teffo said that the National Director of Public Prosecutions intended to file charges against Longwe Twala, Khumalo, Gladness Khumalo, Zandi Khumalo, Tumelo Madlala, Mthokozisi Twala, and Maggie Phiri. Teffo remarked that these men should be arrested for murder with premeditation and evading punishment.
