A year ago, South Africans were heartbroken after hearing that SA singer Lira had suffered a stroke in Germany. The songbird’s fans waited with bated breath for any health updates from her management team and family – and many updates were shared detailing how the singer was getting better and better each day.

And now a clip of Lira singing perfectly has left many in awe especially since she is still struggling with her speech which was impaired after the stroke.

 

 

 

 

LIRA’S VOICE RENEWS PEOPLE’S FAITH IN GOD
Thousands of people flooded Lira’s social media pages with positive messages of support after hearing that she had suffered a stroke.

One year has passed since Lira had the stroke and while she is still struggling with her speech, she is doing so much better.

The songbird left her many fans inspired after performing at a recent event.

Many couldn’t believe that she was able to sing so beautifully again after completely losing her ability to talk.

Taking to X, one fan shared a video of her singing which she captioned, “Lira can now sing again. NO ONE CAN TELL ME ANYTHING ABOUT GOD.”

HEARTS ARE WARMED
Many in the comments section expressed joy at watching the Feel Good singer do what she loves again. A lot of them credited God for what they are calling a miracle.

“I just realised how hectic this experience must have been. Imagine building your whole career on your voice and that one ability then one day…it’s gone. Lapho you are still so far from retirement. Yoh,” one person said while another added:
